IN PAKISTAN IT IS VERY HARD TO WORK FOR THE CAUSE OF LORD JESUS BECAUSE THE CHRISTIANS IN PAKISTAN ARE ONLY 8 MILLIONS OUT OF TOTAL 160 MILLIONS OF THE POPULATION. AS YOU KNOW THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE HERE ARE MUSLIMS. 5 MILLIONS ARE HINDU PEOPLE WHO ARE MOSTLY LIVING IN THE DESERT AREAS OF THE SINDH PROVINCE.</DIV>
<DIV>WE ARE MOSTLY WORKING AMONG THE POOR CHRISTIANS LIVING IN THE RURAL AREAS OF PAKISTAN. MOSTLY ARE THE SMALL FARMERS GET THE SMALL AGRICULTURAL UNITS OF LAND ON RENT EVERY YEAR. THE PASTORS OF THE OTHER MAJOR DENOMINATIONS USUALLY DO NOT VISIT THEM BECUASE OF THEIR PROVERTY. OUR VISION IS TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL AMONG ALL PAKISTAN NATION PARTICULARY AMONG THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY LIVING IN THE RURAL AREAS. IN 1997 GOD SHOWED ME THE VISION TO GO AMONG THESE PEOPLE TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL. AT THAT TIME I WAS A BANK OFFICER AND I QUITED MY BANKING JOB IN 2001 AND STARTED THE FULL TIME MINISTRY. Welcome to the chat. It isn't used as much as I had hoped for
originally. It seems that many from around the world are finding
their way to it though. Praise to our Father and Savior Jesus Christ
for the growth in the the Body of Christ we see happening all around
the world, especially in countries like yours.
While the Body is growing in area's of the world most unlikely, with
less religious freedoms, it seems to be dying here in the largest free
country(USA), or getting perverted by those wishing to destroy the
church.
Please pray for us, as we find ourselves in an increasing intolerant
country that doesn't want anything to be sin. That preaching the
gospel of Christ, calling on people to repent and find salvation in
Grace, is slowly being taken away, by our homosexual/humanist movement
here in the US, with a new gospel that doesn't matter what you do, as
long as you try to live right and good, you will make it to God no
matter what you believe.
I fear that that is what it will take to open the eyes of many to who
God truly is, as it is in mainly those countries that persecute
Christians, God growing his Church!
Our love in Christ Jesus to all there and any I have missed welcoming
to the group.
